VDW Construction is active in the construction of Agricultural machinery, mainly food and mixers almost 40 years. VDW is a name known as " affordable quality tailored to the customer ." VDW now has the most experience in cribs , mixing bowls and mixers in Belgium . We are also strong in various machines for straw and sawdust distribution. Besides these agriculture -oriented products , we also specialize in various mixing and dispensing machines for the industry.   • 1978-1995


    After making transport boxes, spring tines and soil rippers, Adrien Van de Walle started as a dealer in tractors and agricultural machinery.

    Production of the first successful product: the silage cutting machine with cutting chain. Recruitment of the first staff: Erwin Willems.
    Launch of the fodder bucket with discharge auger.

    Relocation to bigger premises at No. 7 Hoekje, about 1 km from the old workplace. Conversion from sole proprietorship into a private limited liability company (BVBA). Purchase of a plate shear and bending machine.

    Development of a mixing bucket.

    The mixing buckets became increasingly large, this evolved into a self-silage-cutting mixer wagon with a capacity of 5 m³.

  • 1995-2006


    Son Andy begins at the company.

    First tests with straw blowers.
    Further development in soil preparation machinery, including seedbed combinations.
    VDW is taken over by Erwin Willems and Andy Van de Walle.

    Development of Mixer Wing for quicker mixing. 

  • 2007-2010


    30th anniversary celebrations. Successful open day and evening weekend, 2500 visitors.
    Purchase of first 3D program.

    Development of vertical mixing bucket.

    Relocation of the company to a production area of ​​8000 m² in Kapellestraat.
    Silver Horseshoe awarded for our straw cutter.
    Purchase of a large high-definition plasma cutter. (2.5 m x 14 m) 

  • 2010-...


    Introduction of two-component paint for treatment of the machinery. A computerised paint mixing system that can always maintain the correct proportions was purchased for the purpose.

    Development and inclusion of silage distributors in the range.

    Purchase of 2 additional footbridges for the workshop.
    Expansion of the 3D program around a PDM system (data management), in order to keep up with increasingly rapid developments and various custom work.

    Purchase of a 2nd plasma cutter.
    Development of the ‘potato transferrer'.

    Launch of the revamped website.
